Stall description

Young people can be the drivers of change and innovation in society and rural youth are no different. At this stand, the National Rural Network will showcase the importance of rural youth in achieving vibrant rural areas in future and how they can make positive changes to our society, environment and economy. Their innovative practices and ideas can transform rural areas into more attractive places to live and work.  The support provided by Ireland's Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 has created a space for innovative practices around agriculture, the environment and community development.  This stand showcases young women's role in agriculture, how young farmers are tackling climate change at farm level as well as cultural youth projects.
