To develop small rural businesses (homemade products and crafts) in the local area, involving them in tourism and cultural activities by encouraging cooperation between local businesses and the development of innovative products and additional services to residents and tourists.

To develop small rural businesses (homemade products and crafts) in the local area, involving them in tourism and cultural activities by encouraging cooperation between local businesses and the development of innovative products and additional services to residents and tourists.
The main project activities– gourmet tourist routes, camps for small producers, gourmet festivals, home restaurants, participation in exhibitions, exchange of experience, publicity.

Objectives: 

The main project activities:
Tourist routes. Local producers will be identified and developed for new thematic routes - for example, the journey for cake lovers, or trip for wine and beer tasters. Routes will be offered to the local tourist information centres and tour operators.
Camps for small producers. Producers will have opportunity to meet scientists, nutrition specialists and artists to develop new methods of cooperation, creating clusters, and acquiring the knowledge of developing and promoting new products, and how to design concepts for new products and services to the local area, such as Home restaurant movement.
Gourmet festival. The activity during which the local producers and craftsmen, present products by inviting visitors in to creative workshops, cooking classes, and so on. There will be an invite to participate from partners organisations.
“Home restaurant” movement. Local small producers prepare a menu, using their own and theib partner products to offe citizens and tourists restaurant nights. In the pilotseason (4 months of summer) 8 Home restaurant evenings will be organised at various places. There will be development of Home restaurants as a business component in the future and to create new gourmet tourism services.
Participation in exhibitions. Inviting small rural producers to participate in national and international exhibitions and prepare common design and conceptual ideas.
Exchange of experience. Activity involves exchange of experience at international level between the areas of cooperation partners. New knowledge will promote developing innovations of cooking technology and packaging.
Publicity measures. Activity to not only provide information on project activities, but also preparation ob a social campaign to explain to the public on how significant it is to use nuture products and to support local businesses.
