Context:

The LAG Marmilla is an internal area territory, with prevailing rural characteristics, sporadic anthropic settlement, valuable environmental resources, material (mostly internationally outstanding archaeological) and immaterial cultural resources. The landscape has been outlined by pastoral farming and cereal-growing cultivations.
Agriculture still represents a relevant sector for the economy of the territory.
Agricultural and food industry is distinguished by a great potential for development, although their organizational level is insufficient. There are valuable projects in the following sectors: agricultural and food, artistic, typical and traditional handicraft, textile manufacturing, iron and wood work. The cultural resources of this territory are a real point of strength.

Project idea summary:

The project is designed to meet the following requirements:
- Promote training, including for young people, and the dissemination of a business culture in the supply chain and about the production systems, with the aim of developing skills and knowledge of already existing and potential companies, useful to guide entrepreneurial choices and profitable investments on the territories.
- Activate tools to promote the economic development and the employment creation with the contamination of talent, technology, know-how and capital, within a network that fosters new business growth.

Objectives:

Mobility of mainly young age groups (16-30), who have completed their compulsory school education and / or have embarked on a path of self-employment, or those who are about to undertake one, for the organization of international schools for field learning and for the birth of new start-ups.
Actions.
- Creating and opening an expression of interest in order to select the young people to be involved and defining the follow up themes of the school (8/10 young people per partner).
- Organizing international workshops (we suggest 40 hours of e-learning preparatory activities and 120 hours of in situ activities).
- Opening a selection of experts, tutors and interpreters for the purpose of the realization of the laboratories and the e-learning activities (6 experts for each didactic laboratory).
- Organizing international events in order to identify the winners and to show and describe the works.
