Context:

LAG Ravakka is searching international partners for Wirmon Martat, which is a women’s association specialized in organizing events and different kinds of activities that are open to public. The association functions on the basis of voluntary work.

Project idea summary:

Summer Derby -project aims to promote both local and international food tourism in Mynämäki area. The project brings food tourism opportunities close to local people, also for those who can’t travel abroad for food tourism experiences. The concrete Summer Derby -event will be organised in August 2018 in Mynämäki, in the southwest part of Finland.
This project is searching international partners for knowledge transfer considering food tourism, food traditions, event planning and voluntary work. Furthermore, the objectives of the project are to promote cultural cooperation, to share good practises and to receive new international contacts.

Objectives:

Wirmon Martat will organize the Summer Derby food tourism event in August 2018. They are looking for international partners who could share their know-how considering food tourism, share traditional receipts as well as cooking traditions and give added value to event planning. The international partners are also invited to participate the Summer Derby event in Mynämäki, Finland.
