Ja sam Tomi Marinelic, organski farmer iz Dalmacije, Hrvatske.

Ja sam 5 generacija obitelji proizvođača biljke cvijeće iz vrste nazivom Dalmatinski buhač ili dalmatinska krizantema (Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium Trev.). Ova biljka, zapravo korova u regiji, sa svojim prekrasnim cvjetovima i lišćem koje su super za stočne hrane, komercijalno je izvor najmoćnijih biljne insekticida u svijetu. Plant izvađen insekticida ima jedinstvene osobine se non zaostala, visoko biorazgradivi, gotovo bezopasan za toplokrvne organizme i uzrokuje otpor nakupljanje u više od dva stoljeća intenzivne uporabe.

> Trenutno, EU uvozi ove vrste biljnih ekstrakta iz Afrike i Australije, a to nije znakovito proizveden u Europi, zbog troškova effectivenes. No, Dalmacija je jedino mjesto na svijetu gdje je ova biljka uspijeva, naravno, u divljini zahvaljujući pravim uvjetima zaštite okoliša. Raste ima u izobilju, bez potrebe za bilo koji ulaz, niti kemikalija i stoga predstavlja moguću poslovnu priliku.

Vjerujem da je realna industrija mogla biti ponovno razvila u regiji od toga što bi moglo imati koristi poljoprivrednike diljem EU, smanjenje cijena biljne insekticid za poljoprivrednike u EU i smanjenje oslanjanja na uvoz. Već sam proveo nekoliko uspješnih eksperimentalne zasadi i imaju veliko iskustvo u rukovanju s radom usjeva.

Hi,

I am Tomi Marinelic, an organic farmer from Dalmatia, Croatia.

I'm the 5th generation of family producers of a plant flowers from a species called Dalmatian pyrethrum or Dalmatian chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium Trev.). This plant, actually a weed in region, with its beautiful flowers and leaves which are great for animal fodder, is commercially the source of the most powerful plant-based insecticide in the world. Plant extracted insecticide has unique qualities being non residual, highly biodegradable, almost harmless to warm blooded organisms and causing no resistance build-up in more than two centuries of its intensive use.

>Currently, the EU imports this type of plant extract from Africa and Australia and it is not significally produced in Europe due to cost effectivenes. But Dalmatia is the only place in the world where this plant thrives naturally in the wild thanks to just the right environmental conditions. It grows there abundantly with no need for any inputs nor chemicals and therefore presents a possible business opportunity.

I believe that a real industry could be again developed in region from this which could benefit farmers across the EU, lowering the price of plant-based insecticide for EU farmers and reducing reliance on import. I have already carried out several succesfull experimental plantings and have a huge experience in operational handling the crop.
