Discussion paper: Soil Organic Matter content in Mediterranean regions (both arable and permanent crops)

This is a starting paper of an EIP-AGRI Focus Group on Soil organic matter content in Mediterranean regions. DG AGRI has formulated a couple of starting questions in order to focus discussions in the group: How can we improve soil organic matter content in the Mediterranean region in a cost-effective way? and What new solutions for securing soil functionality and soil fertility can be proposed in this regard? are the topics to be addressed and discussed by the Focus Group.
