Dr Matthew Ives is a complexity economist and the Director for Economic Strategy for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet in the South Australian Government. While pursuing net-zero energy and growth missions for South Australia, Dr Ives also works as an INET Oxford Associate on various research programmes at Oxford University applying economic complexity and systems modelling for a rapid low carbon transition and sustainable economic growth.
