Technical

    • Public consultation of eDelivery AS4 2.0 and SMP 2.0 profiles open, set to end on . No feedback received so far. It will be advertised/highlighted again in the next issue of our newsletter.
    • Sustained efforts to improve the high-end performance of Domibus 5.0. Most of the improvements were released as part of Domibus 5.0.6 on , with some additional ones being prepared for Domibus 5.0.7. The entire set will also be released for the Domibus 5.1 product line, as part of Domibus 5.1.1 on .
    • Domibus 5.2 development activities ongoing, with the release planned for following the review of the eDelivery roadmap.
    • DomiSML 4.1.1 maintenance release was published on and the DomiSML 4.3 RC feature released is ready and will be released on .
    • With the migration to the new conformance testing platform complete, work was initiated to:
      • strengthen the testing of the eDelivery Common Profile (the mandatory part of the profile that is implemented by all conformant products)
      • extend the tests to allow software vendors and service providers to test their products/services also against all the optional parts of the eDelivery AS4 1.15 profile, as currently only 2 (of 6) such optional profile parts are testable.

Software product: eDelivery Conformance Testing Platform / Service: Conformance Testing Service

    • With the migration to the new platform complete, work was initiated to extend the tests encoded in the platform in order to allow software vendors and service providers to test their products' and/or services' implementation of all of the eDelivery AS4 1.15 profile enhancements (which are optional parts of the eDelivery specifications). Currently only 2 (of 6) such profile enhancements are testable.
    • Analysis is also underway to strengthen the testing of the eDelivery Common Profile (the mandatory part of the profile that is implemented by all conformant products), since the current level of testing is unequal (some parts are overtested while some others are under- or even un-tested). This will be given priority over the completion of the previous point.
    • In parallel, minor improvements are being added to the platform and to the existing test cases.

Software product: Docker images

    • Docker images for Domibus 5.1.x in a Tomcat + MySQL configuration – production readiness activities ongoing. Stress and performance tests being executed. This is an OOTS requirement.

SMT - workload details:

The number of handled SMT tickets decreased in July 2023, while the number of opened SMT tickets remained stable during the last 4 months. Requests from users concern questions on Domibus and the different plugins, Domibus migration, AS4 connectivity test issues, etc.  


Email interaction:

For eDelivery, received mails were related to:

  • Requests for AS4 connectivity test with Huzar software, State Institute for Drug Control (Štátny ústav pre kontrolu liečiv) SUKL
  • Questions from users: Domibus (Domibus with Tomcat on Docker, JMS plugin, FS plugin and JDB connection, messages not displayed in Admin console, question on TLS certificates), SML/SMP (SMP/SMK certificate update/renewal, service group creation, participants registration on SML), PKI certificates ( ECDB and UDB), questions on the PKI eDelivery service, TAPAS (Oracle RCA and recommendations for CCNEB to follow, issue to save configuration changes in admin console, AS4 connection issue with Air France KLM, questions on eArchiving)
  • There was a total of 494 emails in the FMB. We have removed 60 emails for SML Inconsistency and 7 emails from PKI CommisSign from the count, which makes a total of 324 received mails for the reporting month.

PKI:

In July 2023, 3 certificates were issued: 1 EUDAMED and 2 ECDB and 1 EPREL certificate was rejected.

Operations management:

The achieved availability for SML service was 100% for the month of July 2023 (the target is 99.80%).
