• The second drafts of the eDelivery AS4 2.0 and eDelivery SMP 2.0 profile are almost complete. A new version of the eDelivery BDXL (v2.0) will also be proposed as part of the changes (under preparation).

Specifications: eDelivery AS4 & SMP Profiles

• Following feedback received for the consultation, the specifications are being modified in non-trivial ways:
  • The second drafts of the eDelivery AS4 2.0 and eDelivery SMP 2.0 profile are almost complete. A new version of the eDelivery BDXL (v2.0) will also be proposed as part of the changes (under preparation).
    
  • The disposition of public review comments and the new versions will be finalised shortly.
    
  • The OMB is formally asked to approve the launch of the second public consultation for the revised draft specifications.

Software product: Domibus

• Domibus 5.1.2 bug fix release was published on the 21 Dec 2023
• Domibus 5.0.8 bug fix release
  
  • The release of this version is currently on hold. Despite its substantial scope, the non criticality of the bugs addressed in this version and the limited capacity of the TO it was decided not to proceed or plan the release of this version for the moment. 
• Domibus 5.2 RC

  • Limited progress due to the effort required for 5.1.2 and the extensive maintenance and support workload. Leaving limited capacity for development tasks, as highlighted in the issue EDELIVERY-11247. Due to the prolonged onset of this dynamic, it is highly likely that it will lead to further delays in its release dates.

• Following the publication of secure deployment guidelines, users of Domibus were informed that as of 01 May 2024 emergency security patches will only be released to address vulerabilities that are exploitable in installations that follow the guidelines.

Software product: DomiSMP

• DomiSMP 5.1 RC development activities are ongoing.

Software product: DomiSML

• DomiSML 4.3 Vulnerability Assessment Report received and analyzed. No major issues detected. Feedback provided to the security team. New version of the report is expected.

Software product: eDelivery Conformance Testing Platform / Service: Conformance Testing Service

• eDelivery AS4 1.15 profile enhancements conformance testing implementation:
  • Limited progress due to the extended absence of the team member responsible for this activity
  • Implementation of test cases for the Pull profile enhancement on hold, due to the need for analysis work in some specific test cases
  • Implementation of test cases for the Dynamic Sender profile enhancement ongoing
• Analysis to strengthen the testing of the eDelivery Common Profile (the mandatory part of the profile that is implemented by all conformant products) concluded.
• Work with SMCO and SO for new presentation of conformant solutions and formalising the release process of the eDelivery Conformance Testing Service (to increase level of service maturity)

Software product: Docker images

• Domibus 5.1.2 in a Tomcat + MySQL configuration Docker images for published on the 22 Dec 2023 (OOTS).

The volume of opened and handled SMT tickets decreased slightly in December 2023, as a result of the end-of-the-year break. There were still also in February compared to the month before, but not significantly.  The peak of requests in January and February 2023 is due to the large number of renew/issuing of PKI Certificates as the deadline to renew PKI certificates from T-Systems to CommisSign was the 31/01/2023. In February 2024, there were a lot of questions from users on Domibus migration issues (migration scripts), docker usage, conformance tests issues (Opentext), the FS plugin usage, Docker versions available for Domibus, AS4 connectivity test requests, etc.

For eDelivery, received emails mails were related to:

• Requests for AS4 connectivity test with Everysite LTD, Eufex Deutschand GmbH, Sanmarco Informatica S.P.SHAOKE (Chinese logistics company), Everysite
• eDelivery conformance tests- several questions from Opentext that is running the tests with the new GITB platformtests: ongoing tests on new platform for OpenTunnel, OpenText and Harmony successfully passed the tests (OpenText on the ‘old’ platform, Harmony on the ‘new’ GITB) and their solution was published on the AS4 conformant solution page on Digital website.
• Answers for the “Public Consultations on eDelivery AS4 profile 2.0 and eDelivery SMP profile 2.0”SGTR and PKI services – SOD finalised

• There was a total of  641  744 emails in the FMB. We have removed 64 59 emails for SML Inconsistency, 42 16 alerts, 34 120 xmatters and 11 9 emails from PKI CommisSign from the count, which makes a total of  490  540 received mails for the reporting month.
