TRACK 1: TRANSFORM Our society is in the middle of a profound paradigm shift driven by the emerging digital industrial economy. The digital transformation will affect almost every aspect of our lives and it will have profound impact on the content of public policy, the ways of interacting with stakeholders, the way people work together in public administrations and the role of public administration as we know it. There is a need to explore ICT's potential to drive digital transformation in the public sector. |
TRACK 2: SECURE AND OPTIMIZE Public sector organisations are under increasing pressure to simplify business processes, deliver new and innovative services, comply with changing mandates and improve mission delivery and sector performance - all while keeping a limited budget in check. |
TRACK 3: INNOVATE Public administrations are facing extraordinary domestic and global challenges. There are positive trends in the ways that public administrations are innovating in response to this new landscape. Innovation can enhance the work of the public sector because it offers new possibilities to reformulate old ideas, new ways to see the machinery of the public sector, breaking down policy dead-locks and bringing together new partners to create and implement policies. |
