Ahead of the European Day of Justice tomorrow, I would like to reflect on how far we have come in developing a common European area of justice, and to celebrate the progress we have made together.
10/10/2014 - Reform of EU rules on data protection makes progress at the Justice Council
"Today’s meeting with Justice ministers was an important one. I am pleased to say that the negotiations on the data protection Regulation took another big step forward today" said EU Justice Commissioner Martine Reicherts following the Justice Council in Luxembourg on 10 October.

Commissioner Martine Reicherts will be in Luxembourg on Friday 10 October, where she will meet EU Justice Ministers in order to discuss future developments in the Justice area and make progress on a series of key files.
