Statement
It is my honour to be an ambassador for Youth on the Move.
Without any external help I recorded and released an album with 76 artists from all around the globe singing in 29 languages. The exchange of personal experience alone gave me innumerous new insights and ideas. No matter where I go or whom I meet, I will find like-minded people who feel the idea behind my album and with whom I can connect and exchange and share ideas. Whenever you show a honest interest in others, people will also listen to you more.
It is very important to be open-minded and to abandon prejudices. You can learn something from every human being or creature. The more places you have seen and the more people you have talked to the better you can grasp the world and your own space. In a world that becomes a village more and more it is essential to discuss problems and discover solutions together across borders. The more this becomes common knowledge to each individual the better he or she will be able to stand his or her ground in this world.
Unfortunately, many young people do not have the possibility to gain work experience abroad or to meet people from other countries or cultures. Youth on the Move applies here as an agenda to help adolescents in different ways, financially or by advising them on the opportunities they have. Moreover, it is to help youngsters finding jobs and even guaranteeing them a job within four months after leaving school (“Youth Guarantee”).

Ich habe ohne Hilfe von außen ein Album mit 76 Künstlern aus der ganzen Welt auf 29 Sprachen aufgenommen und veröffentlicht. Allein der persönliche Austausch mit all diesen Menschen hat mir unzählige neue Einsichten und Ideen gegeben. Egal wo ich hinkomme oder wen ich treffe, werde ich auf Gleichgesinnte treffen, die die Idee hinter dem Album fühlen und mit denen ich mich somit wieder austauschen und vernetzen kann. Zeigst du ehrliches Interesse an anderen, wird man dir auch mehr zuhören.
Es ist wichtig für Neues offen zu sein und seine Vorurteile abzulegen. Du kannst von jedem Menschen oder Lebewesen etwas lernen. An je mehr Orten man war und mit je mehr unterschiedlichen Menschen man sich unterhalten hat, desto besser kann man die Welt und auch seine eigene Gegend realistisch einschätzen. In einer Welt, die immer mehr zu einem Dorf wird, ist es unerlässlich sich über Grenzen hinaus auszutauschen über Probleme und deren Lösungen. Je mehr dies für den Einzelnen alltäglich wird, desto besser kann er auch in dieser Welt bestehen.
Leider haben viele junge Menschen nicht die Möglichkeiten Auslandserfahrung zu sammeln oder Menschen aus anderen Ländern und Kulturen kennen zu lernen. Youth on the Move setzt hier als Programm an, um ihnen auf verschiedene Arten unter die Arme zu greifen, sei es auf beratende Weise oder durch finanzielle Hilfe. Weiterhin wird u.a. bei der Arbeitsplatzsuche geholfen und bei der Jugendgarantie sogar gewährleistet, dass innerhalb von vier Monaten nach Verlassen der Schule eine Arbeitsstelle, ein Ausbildungsplatz oder eine Praktikumsstelle gefunden wird.

Bio
LMNZ's birth name is Markus Gram and he is a well-known multilingual musician who produces instrumentals, writes lyrics, composes, arranges music, raps, mixes, records songs and simply loves music! He holds a Bachelor degree in Sound Engineering and currently lives in Berlin, Neukölln.
He recently released his biggest project so far, an album called “Worldwide Rap” featuring 76 international artists performing in 29 languages. The album reached the top spots of the world charts and was referred to as a “Multiculutural HipHop Masterpiece" as well as "characteristically distinctive” in Juice, Europe’s biggest HipHop Magazine. He was also nominated "Artist of the Year" in 2010, won the "Worldwide Rap" award and climbed up to the 6th spot of the "Top 10 album of the year" chart. His work was selected for the "Be Berlin" City campaign for which he composed the music for the TV spot. He also held a speech about the original values of HipHop music and promoted his album at the German Representation of the European Parliament in Berlin. He was recently invited by the European Parliament to perform at the biggest European Youth Exhibition – "YOU". Taking into account the variety of languages that he uses in his inspiring work, he also participated with great pleasure and success at the "EXPO Lingua" forum in Germany under the flagship of the European Commission.
He recently started working on a double album which will be performed on tours, featuring artists like Bajka (Bonobo, Madlib), Loomis Green (Guitar Player of Jan Delay, Aloe Blacc), Emcee Sick of Pseudo Slang (FatBeats Records), Bettina Meske and Poetic Pilgrimage. He has also teamed up with Singer/MC Simple One, Bella (dancer) and Illimité (BBoys) to form a new live performance group featuring multilingual rap, singing and dance elements of very diverse musical styles.
