The EC-funded MoveS network (Free Movement and Social Security Coordination) organised a webinar on Thursday 23 November 2023.

The webinar was an opportunity to get an overview of the legal framework regulating seasonal work at European level. The speakers aimed to underline the different challenges that both Member States of origin and Member States of destination are facing.  Some examples were provided. This includes the presentation of the outcome of a case study on seasonal work that was carried out in Spain some years ago, as well as a description of the current state of affairs regarding seasonal work in a country of origin (Romania) and in a country of destination (Germany).
