Eurostat issues manuals and explanatory notes which provide explanations and recommendations on the implementation of the European forest account (EFA) and the joint forest sector questionnaire (JFSQ) data collections.

Questionnaires

Annual data on forest statistics and European forest accounts are collected though the 2 following questionnaires:

• Joint forest sector questionnaire (JFSQ)
• European forest accounts (EFA)

Metadata

• Timber removals, wood products and trade (concerning JFSQ)
• Forest resources and environmental functions (concerning EFA)
