Night of the Museums

From 15/05 to 16/05

In the evening of May 15, the Romanians were invited to spend quality time in the museums. In Bucharest, 12 museums were opened, granting free access to the pub-lic. The 2010 European Year campaign was hosted by the National Museum of Maps and Old Books.

The museum was opened between 21.00 PM - 04.00 AM, having over 900 old books and engravings. The collection positions the museum within the first three in Europe and the only one of this kind in the country.
