Learn what the EU can do for young people!

From 13 to 15 May, on the occasion of Europe Day, Youth on the Move is coming to Sofia.

Come at the YOM tent in the City garden, Batenberg square on:

Tuesday, 13 May: 12:00 – 19:00
Wednesday, 14 May: 10:30 – 19:00
Thursday, 15 May: 10:30 – 19:00

Commissioner Andor opens Youth on the Move event in Sofia:

“Free movement is one of the fundamental rights of all European Union Citizens. And the European Commission is guaranteeing the non-discriminatory implementation of this basic freedom. Through mobility young people in Europe gain skills that in the long run make their position in the job market stronger. I hope the Bulgarian youth will plainly benefit of the presence of the Youth on the Move campaign to learn more about the opportunities Europe offers” said László Andor, Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

The Youth on the Move event in Sofia will last until 15 May. In the information stands the visitors can learn about the tools EU offers in education, employment, entrepreneurship, research and mobility. Beside the information part a reach animation program awaits the participants. Kalin Velyov, known Bulgarian singer and the ambassador of Youth on the Move initiative in Bulgaria will give a drum class and a concert in the evening of 13 May.

“Supporting young people is our main goal at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. Currently we are implementing the national plan on the Youth Guarantee. One of the key elements of it is the youth entrepreneurship scheme to encourage young people to start their own business. I welcome the Youth on the Move initiative and other European Commission’s efforts to empower young people” said Rositsa Yankova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy.

 

Every year the European Union supports thousands of young people to work, train and study abroad. Be one of them!

You will find information about employment, education, mobility in Europe and get acquainted with the existing tools offered by the European Commission.

The Youth on the Move in Sofia offers:

• Information and advices from experts, testimonies and debates. You will have the opportunity to meet representatives of the European institutions.
• Workshops and activities, hip-hop contests, musical and cultural events, a wall of expression, a Career Path competition with a special YoM prize
• Concerts on 13 and 14 May at 19:00

Научете какво може да направи ЕС за младите хора!

От 13 до 15 май инициативата „Младежта в движение“ ще гостува на София по повод Деня на Европа. Заповядайте в шатрата на „Младежта в движение“ в Градската градина, на площад „Батенберг“:

На 13 май, вторник, от 12:00 до 19:00 ч.
На 14 май, сряда, от: 10:30 до 19:00 ч.
На 15 май, четвъртък, от 10:30 до 19:00 ч. 

Всяка година Европейският съюз подкрепя работата, стажа и обучението на хиляди младежи в чужбина. Станете част от тях!

Ще научите повече за заетостта, образованието и мобилността в Европа и за наличните инструменти на Европейската комисия.

Какво предлага „Младежта в движение“ в София:

• Информация и съвети от специалисти, дебати и лични впечатления. Ще имате възможността да се срещнете с представители на европейските институции.
• Семинари и занимания, състезания по хип-хоп, музикални и културни мероприятия, стена за впечатления, „кариерен“ конкурс със специална награда.
•  Концерти на 13 и 14 май, от 19:00 ч.
