Safety precautions and risk assessment | You should inspect the product before sampling in order to assess if there are any risk during sampling. Under normal conditions foodstuffs do not present particular health hazards. For sanitary reasons always wash your hands before and after handling any products. The protective/disposable gloves are to be worn. Working at heights and opening heavy metal barrels may cause the health risk. |
Sampling plan | Consignments for customs clearance – Sampling from barrels or drums: One sample is usually taken as representing the goods covered by the same customs declaration. More aggregate samples may be created from containers containing different products or lots. In this case as the consignment represented only one lot – the samples were taken from one barrel chosen randomly. Declarant agreed with sampling and confirmed that the sample was representative of the whole consignment. Recommended minimum quantity for each sample: 500 ml or 0,5 kg |
