Welcome to the Responsible Minerals Information System.

The EU has an integrated policy of responsible sourcing of minerals, centered on Regulation (EU) 2017/821 which sets out due diligence obligations for Union importers of tin, tantalum and tungsten and gold (the so-called "3TGs"). The overarching objective of this policy is to break the nexus between armed conflict and the illegal exploitation of minerals so as to contribute to peace, development and stability in conflict-affected and high-risk areas.

To access the ReMIS system you need to create an EU LOGIN account with a second factor authentication. The account can be easily created on the EU LOGIN website: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas/. The second factor authentication can be configured, by downloading an installing the EU Mobile App (procedure available here).
