Stories from the regions: Medvedgrad Visitors’ Centre and Medvednica Nature Park, Croatia

The project, co-funded by the EU, has restored and enriched a heritage site with a state-of-the-art museum and educational facilities throughout the Nature Park, from which a series of programmes are offered to local residents and tourists alike. Through an integrated strategy to protect, valorise, and educate, the project is an example of careful and sustainable development of tourism within the context of a cultural and natural heritage site.
