Today, the European Commission’s Harnessing Talent Platform launched a survey to gather insights on effective practices for tackling demographic change, brain drain, and population decline. You are invited to submit your suggestions and have the chance to have them featured on the platform.

Stakeholders are invited to share good practices that seek to retain, develop, and attract talent in EU regions and countries. The objective is to gather effective, innovative and sustainable good practices and to publish a selection of these in the dedicated Knowledge repository of the Harnessing Talent Platform.
The scope of good practices is broad and may include:
- projects and/or actions addressing the decline of tertiary-educated populations.
- educational & training programmes.
- innovative financing models encouraging talent retention and development.
- examples of synergies between EU-level (e.g., ESIF) and domestic funding sources.
- transition strategies and research projects.
Your contribution will enhance the knowledge exchange via the Harnessing Talent Platform and will benefit EU regions facing a talent development trap.
All good practices received will be carefully reviewed by the Harnessing Talent Platform Secretariat. While not all of them will be published, they can still serve to help certain regions as part of the support provided via the Talent Booster Mechanism.
