Operation of Strategic Importance ‘Crossroads’ opens first call for projects for Wallonie-Vlaanderen-France

On 17 September, the Interreg Belgium - France project “Crossroads” opens its first call for SME-projects during the projects kick off-event, which takes place in Lille, France. The deadline for the project proposals is 30 October 2024.

Crossroads is a strategic project within the Interreg VI Belgium - France programme. The project supports cross-border collaborations between SMEs in product, process, and service innovation. The project does this by matchmaking SMEs and by supporting their collaborations through the organisation of project calls within a special project fund in which SMEs can apply for grants.

SME-projects, which want to be supported by Crossroads, should focus on the commercialisation of innovations within the common innovation challenges of the cross-border area, namely:

  • Circular economy
  • Sustainability (energy, water and raw materials)
  • Healthcare
  • Digitalisation/industry 4.0

The first call for projects will be launched during the kick-off event of the project which takes place in Lille, France on 17 September 2024.

During this event, participants can learn more about the Crossroads project and the Interreg Belgium - France programme; can get inspired by testimonials of some SMEs (which participate(d) in SME-projects within the similar Crossroads Flanders-Netherlands project) and an insightful keynote; and can meet potential partners during our networking moment. Participation to this event is free but inscription is necessary.
