S3 Conference 2024 – Registration Now Open!

The Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) Conference 2024 will take place on December 11-12 at Palacongressi di Rimini, Italy. This flagship event, organised by the DG for Regional Policy of the European Commission, the S3 Community of Practice Secretariat and the Emilia-Romagna region, with the support of the Municipality of Rimini, will gather S3 experts, policymakers, and practitioners to explore key themes like regional innovation, sustainable economic growth, and interregional collaboration.

The Conference will focus on key topics including green and digital transitions, resilience through innovation, and interregional cooperation. While the S3 Conference will be a one-day event (11th of December), there will be a set of side events on the next day (12th of December), the details of which can be found in the agenda. 

The event is free, though participants cover their own travel costs.
