The European Urban Initiative (EUI) has just launched a Forward-looking Survey to gather vital insights from urban stakeholders across Europe. This crucial survey, hosted on Portico, plays a key role in understanding the evolving challenges and priorities of European cities and in shaping a responsive approach, providing the European Commission with a deeper understanding of the emerging dynamics and needs of cities.

This is the chance for urban authorities, regional or national authorities, urban practitioners and researchers in urban development, or any other organisation involved in urban policies and planning or implementing urban development strategies to directly influence the support for sustainable urban development in Europe.
The Survey offers a bottom-up approach. By reaching out directly to urban practitioners, the European Commission and EUI will gain valuable insights into the needs of cities, regardless of their size. This ensures that the EUI remains responsive and tailors its support to effectively address the challenges faced by urban areas across Europe.
The survey which is open until 12 July 2024 is for now available in English but will be accessible in all the EU languages.
