This Working Group will bring together just transition stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to provide input and recommendations to inform discussions at EU level on future just transition and related funding instruments.
Structured around the Multiannual Financial Framework 2028-2034 negotiation period, and building on the results of the JTF review process, this Working Group will focus on support with aligning the next phase of just transition implementation with the realities on the ground.
This Working Group aims to establish a structured and time-bound dialogue among just transition stakeholders, and with the Commission, and to develop recommendations for future policies and ideas on steering investment and financing in a just transition.
