A few extra days to apply for NEB Prizes 2024 - deadline extended to 17 November

The deadline for applications to the New European Bauhaus Prizes 2024 has been extended to 17 November at 19:00 CET.

This extension aims to provide aspiring participants with extra time to submit their innovative projects and concepts implemented either in the EU, the Western Balkans or Ukraine, that promote positive and inclusive experiences for all.

The Prizes 2024 will award 20 winners who will receive prizes of up to €30,000, as well as a communications package to help them further develop and promote their projects and concepts. They will be announced during the New European Bauhaus Festival, taking place in Brussels from 17 to 21 April, at an awards ceremony hosted by the Commission.

The fourth edition of the Prizes aligns more closely with cohesion policy, putting an extra focus on regions across the EU facing more intensively socio-economic constrains, and places challenged the most by the need to evolve to a carbon neutral economy.

In addition, to recognise and support Ukraine's resilience, recovery and reconstruction effort, the 'Special Recognition to Ukraine's Reconstruction and Recovery Effort' prize will be awarded to 2 projects or ideas (one winner and one runner-up) implemented in Ukraine, by Ukrainian entities.
