GreenTech Solutions Summit in Luxembourg

The GreenTech Solutions Summit, which took place on 26th September 2024 in Luxembourg heralds official launch of the Interreg-supported ‘Greater Green+’ project.

Over 200 people from all over the Grande Région attended the GreenTech Solutions Summit in Luxembourg and were captivated by more than 30 interventions in three languages..

Specialists and enthusiasts in green, environmentally friendly technologies and processes converged on the Grand Duché on 26 September as part of the GreenTech Solutions Summit, organized in the framework of the Greater Green+ project.  Greater Green+ aims to become a catalyst for the green transition in the Grande Région/Greater Region/Großregion covering Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany. Greater Green+ aims to make the Grande Région a leader in the green transition towards a circular economy and sustainable development, focusing on five themes: energy, sustainable construction and renovation, recycling technologies, water and the environment – and the bioeconomy.

By implementing its programme of actions (awareness-raising events, workshops, networking, brainstorming and acceleration groups), Greater Green+ represents a genuine accelerator for cross-border cooperation and technology transfer projects in the field of Green Tech in support of the circular economy, resilience and resource efficiency (critical raw materials, water, energy).

A digital Green Tech platform will promote Green Tech solutions and training available throughout the Grande Région and provide Green Tech players with a community platform for collaboration, information sharing and opportunities.

This project, with 3.9 million € in funding from Interreg, will raise the profile of the Grande Région in the field of Green Tech, with expected spin-offs in terms of innovation and attracting talent.
