More about JTPeers

The European Commission is providing additional support for JTF territories through the JTPeers programme, comprised of two sub-programmes:

  • JTPeers Exchange: Launching on May 2. A peer-to-peer programme with facilitated interactions between relevant practitioners from JTF territories and/or JTPeers Experts. Within these exchanges (some fully virtual, others designed as in-person visits), selected JTF regional stakeholders explore mutually experienced challenges and draw upon their own lessons learned and knowledge to collectively identify potential solutions and pathways forward.
  • JTPeers Experts: Launching later this spring. A database showcasing the wide breadth of just transition expertise held by professionals working across Europe. These experts will be available to help JTF territories in the implementation of the Territorial Just Transition Plans (TJTP) through the advisory support.

The programme facilitates:

  • Exchanges between JTF territories and other relevant Just Transition stakeholders, including regional and public authorities as well as socio-economic partners such as NGOs, universities, unions, or businesses
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices between experts, JTF territories and other relevant stakeholders, offering them the opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences
  • Access to experts with a wide range of know-how, expertise, and information on Just Transition topics
