The performance framework is a set of output and result indicators in each programme for each specific objective that allows to measure progress towards the achievement of the specific objectives of each programme. It includes milestones to be achieved by the end of the year 2024 for output indicators as well as targets to be achieved by the end of the year 2029 for both output and result indicators. Among other information, the progress in achieving the milestones will be taken into consideration for the mid-term review of each programme in 2025, during which the definitive allocation of the flexibility amount will be decided.
