Cohesion report

Obsah

The European Commission produces a cohesion report every three years to report on progress towards achieving economic and social cohesion across the European Union. Enshrined in Article 175 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (consolidated version 2012), the report must be submitted to the European Parliament, Council of Ministers, Economic and Social Committee and Committee of the Regions.

The report assesses the socio-economic situation and outlook in all EU regions based on economic, social and territorial indicators. It also analyses the impact and contribution of the Member States' policies and activities, as well as those of the EU and other institutions, such as the European Investment Bank. The report may contain policy proposals, if desired.
