This study provides an overview of existing national and regional innovation strategies of the Member States covered by the European Union’s Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). The study was prepared as a background report for a conference on ‘Smart Specialisation and Growth in the Baltic Sea Region’ held from 5-6 April 2011 in Malmö (Sweden).
