European Funds for Świętokrzyskie 2021-2027

Programme description

The programme's main aim is to strengthen the region's economic and social potentials. Supporting entrepreneurship, fostering sustainable and smart development in the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship will bring about a security and high quality of life for its citizens.

In the field of innovation the Świętokrzyskie region is still underperforming. Therefore, In line with regional smart specializations, the programme sets up measures to encourage the cooperation between enterprises and research and development facilities.

In the area of environment and climate,  the programme will continue its actionsto protect biodiversity and in the management of drinking and waste-water. Moreover, to develop environmental risk forecasting and warning systems, the programme will favour municipal climate change adaptation projects. In the same vein, it will support advisory systems fostering climate neutrality. Further interventions are to drive the replacement of conventional energy sources with renewables.

Regarding mobility the programme is planning investments improving road safety and investments increasing the safety of non-motorized road users, as well as building infrastructure for zero-emission vehicles.

The programme will invest also in inclusive education, vocational training, de-institutionalized social and health services (mainly aimed at primary health care and outpatient care) as well as in sustainable tourism and culture.

Additionally, the European Social Fund (ESF +) will finance measures that focus on adapting the workforce to the rapidly changing labour market. Other interventions are aimed at improving the youth's access to the labour marker through the attinament of more relevant qualifications and professional experience. The programme will encourage the creation of new places in Kindergartens, especially in rural areas.

The programme contributes to the implementation of key EU priorities in the area of green growth, digitization, innovation and economic transformation.
