Programme description
The programme aims to make the region more attractive, innovative, green and inclusive. To that end, investment into the green and digital transition will play a key role.
The EU support will transform the region economy through support for innovation, the development and digitalisation of small enterprises and the development of the digital sector.
Cohesion funds will be mobilised for the region's green transition, including support for sustainable urban mobility, energy efficiency measures, renewable energy production, adaptation to climate change actions, preservation of biodiversity, sustainable water and circular economy measures.
In addition, the programme will support vocational training of the unemployed, career guidance and actions to develop the entrepreneurship for those furthest away from the labour market to access employment.
The programme also promotes the sustainable development of urban and rural areas. A multi-fund territorial approach is put in place for the implementation of the territorial component of the European funds 2021-2027.
