Programme description
With Cohesion Policy, Occitanie will rise to the challenge of Regional disparities. The programme will help redress the limited access to equipment, infrastructure, education, employment and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Support to SMEs and investments into innovation will play an important role in reducing disparities while enabling the region to weather the challenge digital transition.
Cohesion funds will assist the region's green transition by supporting energy efficiency measures, climate change adaptation and renewable energy production.
In addition, the programme seeks to improve the quality of education, the access to employment as well as the access to health care for patients living far away from public infrastructure.
The programme will pay a special attention to remote and less developed territories through participative mechanisms at local level, notably in the Pyrénées mountains.
