Programme ERDF 2021-2027 Baden-Württemberg

Programme description

The central strength of Baden-Württemberg lies in its high innovative capacity. The programme reinforces its position as one of the EU's leading innovation regions.

The programme has two main objectives:

-“Future Technologies and Skills” to cater for the expansion of research and innovation capacities, funding of prototyping and technology transfer, supporting innovation in companies, and skills development for start-ups in the high-tech sector.

-"Resources and climate protection”- includes transfer structures, prototyping and technology transfer to increase energy and resource efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the expansion of the bio-economy and the circular economy.

The main tool to implement the EU-funds on the ground is “RegioWin 2030”. All regions of Baden-Württemberg are called upon to include actors from business, science, society and administration in this process. This inclusive approach allows choosing the best projects and a very high commitment on the ground.
