Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness programme

Programme description

The main objective of the programme is to increase the added value and productivity of Czech enterprises (in particular small and medium-size enterprises, SMEs).

Such increase in productivity will allow to improve their position in global value chains and reap benefits from emerging business opportunities, thus stimulating the creation and development of new innovative firms.

At the same time, the programme contributes to the development of key skills.  Other complementary support instruments (in particular the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the Modernisation Fund, the Fair Transition OP or the Union’s Horizon Europe and Digital Europe programmes) will ensure the transition to a sustainable and digital economy.

Under the policy objectives entitled “A more competitive and smarter Europe” and “A greener, low-carbon transition to a carbon-neutral economy and a resilient Europe” a range of sub-actions will compound the above-mentioned instruments.

Awarding funds as financial instruments, the programme is a pioneer in Czechia and holds the second highest percentage of climate related expenses among the programmes.
