Programme description
The programme targets various aspects of environmental action in Czechia. Particularly, it targets:
- Energy efficiency in public buildings,
- Renewable energy sources,
- Risk management and Climate change adaptation,
- Water and waste water management,
- Circular economy and waste management,
- Biodiversity and pollution reduction.
Among the main goals of the programme belong:
- The reduction of CO2 production,
- Increasing the share of renewable energy sources,
- Increasing the retention of the water in the countryside and disaster prevention,
- Treatment of the wastewater and supply of drinking water to population,
- Increasing the waste recycling and reuse rate,
- Protection of the biodiversity and reduction of pollution of soil and air.
The programme will support public bodies and individuals in their effort to improve the living conditions in Czechia. Its contribution is essential in the effort to reach carbon neutral and green economy.
