Programme description
Main objectives
The programme aims to boost economic growth and contribute to achieving the Europe 2020 targets for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. It should create jobs and boost productivity, particularly in SMEs. The funding will concentrate in innovation and in Reasearch and Development. Investments in ICT will reduce the digital divide and improve services offered by the public sector, aiming also at boosting investments in the region. Finally, the programme will contribute to improve the energy efficiency of the region, reduce emissions and encourage the use of renewables.
The Programme will focus on seven main priorities:
(a) Research, Technological development and Innovation (18.99%);
(b) Digital Agenda (12.83%)
(c) Competitiveness of productive systems (28.44%)
(d) Energy sustainability and Environmental quality (15.42%)
(e) Seismic and hydric risk (7.50%)
(f) Sustainable Urban Development (12.83%)
(g) Technical assistance (4.00%)
Most relevant expected impacts:
- Investment in nearly 6,400 enterprises
- Facilitate 1, 200 fruitful collaboration schemes between enterprises, notably SMEs and research bodies
- Create 670 job for researchers
- Extend the ultra wide broadband for enterprises by 1, 100 km.
- Create 773 new enteprises
- Support 1,155 enteprises to help them introduce products not produced beforehand
- Create nearly 1,700 new full time jobs.
- Supply new ICT services to 100 towns.
