Europe in My Region - Region of Campania

As part of “Europe in my region”, regional communication campaigns are deployed around familiar places, and highlight EU-enabled ideas and initiatives that make a difference at the local level. These regional campaigns with an ultra-local flavour are created in partnership with the Regions.

In the region of Campania, from 3 May until 3 June 2022, this emblematic place is promoted:

• “Principe di Napoli”, a former mountain colony transformed into a gastronomic university and campus

Here the future is shaped. In Agerola, from the restoration of the Mountain Colony “Principe di Napoli”, a Campus has been created to promote local agri-food excellence, the extraordinary cheese production and the training of the chefs of tomorrow. The gastronomic, agricultural and touristic tradition of the Monti Lattari and Upper Amalfi Coast area thus has new energy. A new beginning, made possible thanks to the commitment of Europe and the Campania Region.
