Call for proposals: Promoting youth participation in just transition – EUTeens4Green
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy is seeking proposals to manage a call for projects dedicated to young people
The total budget of this call for proposals is EUR 1 million. Selected beneficiary will be in charge to organise and manage a call for projects dedicated to young people, between 15 and 24 years old and resident in territories with have characteristics to be eligible for the Just Transition Fund.

DG REGIO aims to promote good governance of cohesion policy. Citizens’ participation is particularly important for just transition regions. Participation of young people could propose a novelty into the decision making process, inspiring policy makers and public authorities in charge of management of the Just Transition Fund.
The present initiative follows on previous initiatives aiming at promoting youth participation in cohesion polity, e.g. toolkit on Youth for Just Transition, Manifesto for Young People by Young People to Shape the European Cooperation Policy, at the School of Open Cohesion. They all contribute to the objectives of the European Year of Youth 2022.
Helping everyday public administrations improve their skills:
Managing EU funds for cohesion policy can be difficult, and there are often needs for training and tools to make the work better and faster. The competence centre for “administrative capacity building” at DG REGIO offers tools, training, support and knowledge to help civil servants increase their skills in topics as state aid, public procurement and road map for administrative capacity building - and as wide as anti-corruption, fraud and citizens’ participation.
