Involving the youngest - Interreg Croatia-Serbia launches “My vision of a green Europe” contest

To celebrate the European Day of Cooperation, the program launches an online art competition.

The contest is aimed at children and primary school students - often Europe’s most creative and ambitious citizens - and invites them to design posters on the theme “My vision of a green Europe” and show how they imagine a green(er) Europe.

The scope of the competition is to educate and engage children concerning personal and collective awareness and responsibility for creating and preserving a healthy, green Europe. The key question the children are trying to answer is: What could it look like if we worked together and if each individual contributes to creating a healthy, green environment for all citizens?

Nothing is off limits to show what the youngest Europeans want from the future. They have full freedom of creative expression to use all techniques and materials that can help them express their vision. However, of course, in line with the subject, the use of recycled materials is encouraged.

All received works will be published on the Programme’s Facebook page and two prises will be awarded: The Social Media Award for the poster design that collects the highest number of likes on the Facebook page and the EC DAY 2021 Poster Award to be chosen by a jury consisting of members of the Interreg Croatia - Serbia staff.

More information on the competition can be found on the programme website. Deadline for contributions is 1 November 2021.
