A series of hybrid events will address the current challenges and the future potential of the Adriatic Sea and Coast.

The EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) will hold the annual Mediterranean Coast and Macro-regional Strategies Week on 9-11 and 22-23 November 2021. Making the most of the hybrid nature of the event, and demonstrating the practical nature of territorial cooperation, it will be livestreamed from Slovenia and North Macedonia.
The event aims to raise awareness about the Ionian coast and its hinterland, the natural and economic potential it boasts, and the risks resulting from natural phenomena and human activity. It brings together politicians, decision-makers, experts, and the interested public from local, regional, national and international levels. Special attention will be directed at youth actors and stakeholders involved in the green transition.
The goal is to further enhance the collaboration between the EUSAIR countries and to strengthen the joint efforts of EU and Neighbourhood countries to create a common sustainable future for the Region. The joint event will bring additional EUSAIR visibility to both the host countries, Slovenia and North Macedonia, as well as to the entire Adriatic-Ionian Region.
