The Go For It coaching programme is turning to virtual communication to ensure entrepreneurs can still get their business ideas off the ground during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Business advisers can be contacted by phone or video conference to give guidance to anyone wanting to start a business.
Over the past two years, the programme has mentored over 6 000 aspiring entrepreneurs across Northern Ireland’s 11 council areas.
Recently, it helped one local entrepreneur launch his cleaning services company and brand of hand sanitiser.
Go For It provides free expert advice and takes people through the process of creating a business plan. Financial forecasting, marketing and long-term business planning are among the subjects covered.
The project is funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the ERDF.
