Since the first call for proposals in 2015 and one last call ongoing, the Urban Innovative Actions has attracted great interest from urban authorities with more than 1100 applications that have so far translated into 75 innovative projects in 18 Member States to test new solutions to make EU cities greener, more productive and inclusive or ready for the digital transition. We value every successful project and every positive change generated for citizens’ lives. But we are striving to deliver more for cities, provide them with best conditions to innovate, in a nutshell, to make the next generation of urban innovative actions more efficient and easy to use! This is one central ambition of the European Urban Initiative 2021/2027 that will integrate the UIA in a more complete and coherent set of actions to support sustainable urban development and Cohesion policy as a whole.

Therefore, we would like to encourage you to reply to our assessment surveys. Thank you to all of you who have already done so. For those who haven’t yet, don’t miss the opportunity! You have until the 5th June

In particular, if you are a UIA beneficiary, or if you applied to one of the UIA calls, please fill in this dedicated survey

We value all opinions, so if you want to share your view on behalf of a city that didn’t apply to the UIA, any other organisation, or on your personal initiative, you are welcome to do so in this open survey

Please don’t hesitate to share the news with your colleagues. The more reviews we get, the better we can respond for a well-informed assessment study of the UIA!

If you encounter any technical problems, please report to UIA@cses.co.uk.
