An ERDF-funded project in Latvia will aim to improve the quality of healthcare services in the country by investing in medical infrastructure and technological developments. An ERDF-funded project in Latvia will aim to improve the quality of healthcare services in the country by investing in medical infrastructure and technological developments.

The project will provide 22 medical institutions across Latvia with funding to improve their infrastructure, acquire new medical technologies and equipment, and advance the functionality of the hospital services.

The ERDF-funded project will be carried out by the Ministry of Health which is calling for applications for project implementation in the hospitals to be submitted to the Central Financing and Contracting Agency of Latvia before 1 June 2018.

The ERDF will cover 85 % of the total budget of over EUR 15 800 000.
