The ERDF, together with the Flemish Hermes Fund, is giving a financial boost to Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), a government organisation which promotes international enterprise in Flanders.
This project is part of the Flemish economy’s internationalisation strategy known as ‘Flanders goes faster!’. The goal is to increase Flemish exports to other countries while simultaneously strengthening Flanders’ position as an attractive base for foreign investment.
Thanks to EUR 800 020 of ERDF funding, FIT will now be able to focus on accelerating the implementation of the strategy. Working closely with the Flemish Agency for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, FIT aims to prepare Flemish companies for future investment and trade challenges and to ensure they can secure a competitive position and become established at the forefront of innovation.
