Connecting Cultures, Connected Citizens

Description

  • 10 - 20 December 2018
  • Brussels, Belgium

“Come and enjoy your cultural journey among the EU regions and fly over the European borders” The European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 is coming to an end and most of the actions undertaken by the European Commission have enabled European citizens to get actively involved and to reinforce a sense of belonging in a common European space. In this framework, all Interreg Managing Authorities within Europe responded to the call for ”best practice Interreg projects” in the Cultural Heritage and Creative Industries. They succeeded in mobilising more than 100 projects and events to apply for the "EYCH" labelling. The result enabled DG REGIO and DG EAC, together with the Interact Programme to publish the e-book “Connecting Cultures, Connected Citizens”. Due to this successful initiative, the e-book was turned into an exhibition. We invite you to visit this exhibition “connecting cultures, connected citizens”, in Brussels at the Berlaymont (Piazza), from 10th to 20th of December 2018. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover new approaches and creative ideas that your regions have implemented under the best Interreg cultural and creative projects, labelled “EYCH”.
