Transport - Final Report - Work Package 5 Ex post evaluation of Cohesion Policy programmes 2007-2013, focusing on the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund (CF)
As part of the ex-post evaluation of the 2007-2013 period, DG REGIO has now published the study exploring the cohesion policy intervention in the area of transport. The consultants analyzed the data on financial input and physical output of the interventions to give account of the EU contribution to the comprehensive transport networks. They also assessed its strength and weaknesses, focusing in particular on the financial analysis underlying the infrastructural projects.
All deliverables from the ex post evaluation are available in the Evaluation section. The Commission will draw up its own summary of the findings later in 2016 once all work packages are complete.
