Summary
The European Union's purpose is to promote peace, break down borders and barriers to trade, encourage development, promote goals like a competitive global market and social progress and many more, so the European Union is reffered to as a stable political and economic community till the Brexit. Brexit could affect individuals in all sorts of different ways. Accordingly, the number of Eurosceprics grows and citizens lose confidence in the stability of the Union. There is a lack of understanding of the situation and questions like: why is this happening, who should do what, what does this mean for me etc. Thus, the project activities will involve project partners who will talk about the future of the European Union. The European Council defined a broad strategic agenda for the Union in times of change. In addition, White paper on the future of Europe was adopted. In time of terrorist attacks, refugee crisis, financial crisis, one of European Union Member States voted to leave the Union. White Paper maps out the drivers of change in the next decade and presents a range of scenarios for how Europe could evolve by 2025. There is a need for a strenghtened cooperation beetwen EU member states to prevent euroscepticism so through the project activities (workshops, meetings, conferences,..) partners will seek to deepen cooperation. Equally, providing activities for the wider community will give importance to citizen participation in expressing what Europe wants in the future.
