Title: Europe Future of Young in Rural Area
Summary
All activities in accordance with the description in the application form have been carried out. The project included 5 events. All events were held. More than 500 participants took part in the events that lasted for 3 days, which is more than planned. Due to restrictive COVID 19 measures, 2/5 on-site events were held, instead of on-site events, online events were held (3/5).The schedule of participants by event is as follows:1st event “LET’S START” – hosted by LAG PRIZAG (Croatia) – 3 days, 124 participants. The event was held online via the Zoom platform.2nd event “LET’S KNOW EUEAL AREA”– hosted by the Municipality of Sopronkovesd (Hungary) – 3 days, 108 participants. The event was also held online.3rd event “A VIEW FROM THE SIDE”– hosted by RDA Bačka and the association Danube 1245 (Serbia) – 3 days, 78 participants. The event was held on site in Fruška gora, but also online for all interested participants.4th event “LET US PROVE THAT WE CAN”- hosted by Slow tourism Trentino Alto Adige association (Italy) - 2 days, 93 participants. The event was held online.5th event “A VIEW TO THE FUTURE”- hosted by LAG PRIZAG (Croatia) - 3 days, more than 150 participants. The event was held on site in Novi Marof and its surrounding area. At all events, the criteria regarding the ratio of participants was met (at least 30% were international participants, invited by project partners). Youth associations from Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia were involved and participated in the project. High school students from Karlovci Grammar School and Agricultural High School from Serbia also participated. There were also participants representing youth councils for municipal and city councils from Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. The whole project involved numerous experts in demography, professors, representatives of public authorities, ministries and examples of good practices.Details of the project can be followed at www. efyra.eu, YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@efyraeuropefutureofyoungin3630 ,and social network Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100067588620193 .Project dissemination was organized through two press conferences, one in Croatia and one in Serbia. All project partners have published information related to the EFYRA project and EFYRA study on their websites. The completed EFYRA study was sent to all decision-makers at the local, regional and EU level (representatives of local and regional authorities in the partner countries, representatives of the European Parliament at the EU level, members of the national parliaments of the partner countries). The author of the Study is the leading Croatian expert in rural demography, Associate Professor Aleksandar Lukić, Ph.D.The study can be viewed at the link: https://www.efyra.eu/900-2/ Also, during the implementation of the project, cooperation was successfully established with the thematic network "Network 2050 - Demography, from challenges to answers”. The goal of the network is to create guidelines for the development of public policies based on evidence and to offer a response to the challenge that negative demographic indicators and trends pose to Croatian society. For this purpose, 3 studies will be conducted in the areas of: emigration of young people from Croatia, migration and national security, and the demographic potential of Croatian emigration.
