On 28 & 29 June 2017, the European Commission will host a high level Conference on Tax Fairness, in Brussels.

This conference will bring together speakers from various horizons such as policy-makers, academics, NGOs or businesses.
Through a series of panel discussions, the event will discuss the role that taxation can play in ensuring social fairness.
It will address the fight against tax fraud, evasion and avoidance, but also the role of taxation in reducing inequalities and supporting social mobility.
